Product Data

Use product data to reduce AI guesswork, keep image text accurate, and create ecommerce visuals faster.

Product Data Reduces Guesswork

Product data gives ProdVue the context needed to plan accurate ecommerce images. The better the product data, the easier it is to create useful product infographics, comparison visuals, size references, how-to images, and channel-ready exports.

This matters because product images should not invent specs, ingredients, benefits, sizes, or usage promises. Good data saves revision time and helps reviewers catch issues before an image goes live.

What to include

  • Product title and category.
  • Intended shopper and use case.
  • Size, quantity, flavor, color, material, scent, ingredient, and variant details.
  • Packaging details and what is included in the box.
  • Approved benefit statements and required warnings.
  • Channel goals such as Shopify PDP images, Etsy listing images, Amazon gallery slots, or A+ modules.
  • Existing product-page copy that has already been reviewed by your team.

What product data improves

| Input | Better Output | |------|---------------| | Dimensions and quantity | More accurate size comparison and bundle images | | Ingredients or materials | Stronger ingredient/material breakdown visuals | | Approved benefits | Cleaner product infographic copy | | Target audience | More relevant lifestyle scenes and in-use images | | Brand tone | More consistent image text and styling | | Channel notes | Fewer crop, compliance, and export mistakes |

What still needs proof

Product data is context, not legal proof. Claims that appear in image text should be backed by labels, packaging, certificates, CoAs, or an approved claim set. If a claim cannot be traced to source material, keep it out of final export until reviewed.
