Account

How do I create an account?

Go to prodvue.com/sign-up and sign up with your email. It takes about 30 seconds.

Can I use ProdVue without an account?

No. An account is required to generate and download images.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Contact us through the dashboard and we will process your account deletion. Any unused credits will be forfeited.

Credits

How many credits do I get for free?

New accounts receive a small number of free credits to try ProdVue with real products. The exact amount may vary.

Do credits expire?

No. Credits never expire. Use them whenever you need them.

What happens if I am not happy with a generated image?

You get 1 free redo per image. If the result is close but not quite right, regenerate it at no extra cost.

Can I get a refund on unused credits?

Refer to our refund policy for details on credit pack refunds.

Is there a subscription option?

No. ProdVue uses one-time credit packs. Buy what you need, when you need it. No recurring charges.

Image Quality

What resolution are the generated images?

Images are generated at high resolution suitable for all major marketplaces. They meet or exceed the minimum requirements for Amazon (1600 px+), Shopify, and Etsy.

How long does image generation take?

Most images are ready within 1-2 minutes. Complex image types like infographics or comparison charts may take slightly longer.

Can I edit the generated images after downloading?

Yes. You receive standard image files (JPG/PNG) that you can edit in any image editor, crop, or resize as needed.

Will my images look different from other ProdVue users?

Yes. Every image is generated uniquely based on your specific product photo and preferences. No two outputs are identical. Setting up a Brand Profile further ensures your images match your brand's unique style.

Usage Rights

Do I own the images ProdVue generates?

Yes. You have full commercial usage rights for all images generated through your account. Use them on any marketplace, website, social media, print material, or advertising.

Can I use the images for advertising?

Yes. ProdVue images can be used in any commercial context, including paid ads on Amazon, Facebook, Google, Instagram, or any other platform.

Are there any usage restrictions?

No. Once generated, the images are yours. There are no attribution requirements, no usage limits, and no licensing fees.

File Formats and Technical

What file formats are supported for upload?

JPG, PNG, and WebP. JPG is the most common and works perfectly.

What format are the generated images?

Generated images are delivered in JPG and PNG formats at high resolution.

Is there a file size limit for uploads?

Yes. Maximum upload size is 20 MB per image. Most phone photos are well within this limit.

What aspect ratio should my source photo be?

Any standard aspect ratio works. Square (1:1), landscape (4:3, 16:9), and portrait (3:4) are all supported. The system adjusts automatically.

What types of products work best?

ProdVue works with physical consumer products of all kinds. It produces the best results with:

Are there products that do not work well?

Very large items (furniture, vehicles) and products that are transparent (clear glass, clear plastic containers) can be more challenging. They still work, but results may require a redo.

Can I use ProdVue for digital products?

ProdVue is designed for physical products. Digital products (software, ebooks, courses) are not supported.

Can I photograph multiple products together?

Upload one product per photo. For bundle shots, use the What's Included image type after uploading a photo of the main product.

Marketplace Compliance

Do ProdVue images meet Amazon's requirements?

Yes. The Clean Main image type is specifically designed to meet Amazon's strict main image requirements, including the white background, fill ratio, and resolution guidelines.

Will my images pass Etsy's quality review?

Yes. ProdVue images are generated at Etsy's recommended resolution and follow their best practices for product photography.

Can I use ProdVue images on multiple marketplaces?

Absolutely. Generate once, use everywhere. The images are not locked to any specific platform.
