Brand Profiles
Keep your product images consistent across your entire catalog with Brand DNA settings.
What Is a Brand Profile?
A Brand Profile (also called Brand DNA) is a set of style preferences that ProdVue applies to every image it generates for your products. Think of it as a creative brief that ensures all your product images look like they belong together.
Without a Brand Profile, each image is generated independently. With one, your entire catalog shares a consistent visual identity -- same mood, same quality feel, same aesthetic.
Why It Matters
Consistency across your product catalog signals professionalism and builds trust. Shoppers notice when a listing looks polished and cohesive, even if they cannot articulate why. On marketplaces where you are competing against dozens of similar products, a consistent visual identity helps your brand stand out.
Benefits of using a Brand Profile:
- Visual coherence across all products in your store
- Faster generation because the system already understands your preferences
- Fewer redos because the style is dialed in from the start
- Stronger brand recognition as customers see your products across listings
How to Set Up Your Brand Profile
- Go to Settings in your ProdVue dashboard.
- Open the Brand Profile section.
- Fill in your preferences:
Brand Name and Description
Enter your brand name and a short description of what you sell. This helps the system understand your product category and target audience.
Visual Style
Choose the overall mood of your imagery:
- Minimal -- clean, simple, lots of white space. Good for modern consumer electronics, premium skincare, minimalist home goods.
- Warm -- inviting, cozy tones. Great for food products, candles, home textiles, artisanal goods.
- Bold -- high contrast, vibrant energy. Works well for fitness products, outdoor gear, kids' products.
- Natural -- organic, earthy, soft tones. Ideal for eco-friendly products, natural beauty, wellness items.
- Premium -- rich, dark, luxurious feel. Suited for high-end accessories, spirits, watches, jewelry.
Target Audience
Describe your typical customer in a few words. "Health-conscious women 25-45" gives better results than just "everyone." The more specific, the better.
Additional Notes
Add anything else the system should know -- specific colors to emphasize, environments to avoid, packaging details, or seasonal considerations.
Tips for Best Results
- Be specific but concise. "Bright, airy kitchen settings with white marble countertops" works better than "nice background."
- Reference your existing brand materials. If you already have a brand guide or mood board, summarize the key points here.
- Update as your brand evolves. You can change your Brand Profile at any time. New images will reflect the updated preferences.
- One profile per brand. If you manage multiple brands, create a separate Brand Profile for each.
How It Affects Image Generation
Once set, your Brand Profile is automatically applied whenever you generate images. You do not need to reference it manually -- it works in the background. The style preferences influence:
- Scene environments and props in Lifestyle images
- Color palette and mood across all image types
- Typography style in Infographic and Comparison images
- Overall composition and lighting direction
You can still customize individual images, but the Brand Profile provides a strong, consistent baseline.
